The year that was. And What’s in the making for 2025.
2024 has been a fantastic year for Arkhé, filled with great projects, accolades, publications, and - more importantly - great connections.
Arkhe was an ADNZ/Resene regional winner and National Finalist in the houses up to 150m² category. We also were a Best Awards Finalist in the Residential Category with our Kokako Heights project. The same project was also featured in HOME magazine latest summer issue, Stuff News and ArchiPro Project Spotlight on their social channels. So much exposure!
On another front, I was invited to write an article on sustainable design and affordability for the NZCB Revere Magazine Issue 9. In it, I delineate basic design principles I employ when designing sustainable, high-performance - and affordable - homes. You can can it read here, pages 38-39.
What an amazing year! To all our clients, collaborators, and followers, thank you for tagging along on our journey.
Looking at the year ahead, we have some fantastic projects in the making, publications lined up, ADNZ regional Awards and another year for learning and growth. Our Te Aroha project is in construction, Hunter House and Kinloch House are soon to be photographed, and I can’t wait to share them with you. We’re also designing truly special homes for a family of surfers in Ahipara, Far North, and Thornton Beach, in Whakatane.
Keep tuned and tag along on our journey!
